Why Become a Member?
Most of the Colonial Sense website is free to all to explore as they please. You need to become a Member when you want to interact with the site instead of just look around. Here's a list of the benefits you receive bu becoming a free CS Member:

Freebies
When you sign up, you get your choice of one of the following:

• Free Event Listing or
• 3 Free Marketplace Posts or
• Free 1-Month Site-wide Display Ad or
• Free CS Webpage ('mini=website' for your company or personal use)

Post
Being a CS Member allows you to post in all areas:

• Add Town Square forum posts: Ask questions and/or express your thoughts on a wide range of colonial topics.
• Add article comments: Enter your opinions or personal experiences about any of our articles
• Add Online Resources links: Know of a great site of interest to Colonial Sense readers? Post it for others to enjoy as well.
• Got a great colonial-era recipe? Post it in our Recipes section!

Download
As a CS Member, you can also freely download additional content and 'pretty-print' the pages:

• Downloads: A wide range of downloadable content -- article extras, music files, computer wallpaper and more!
• Printer-Friendly Pages: Generate pages suitable for printing, without all of the web page clutter (navigation links, ads, etc.).

Advertise

• Add Calendar Events: Post your event listing (additional fee may apply)
• Add Marketplace listings: Got something colonial-oriented to sell? The Marketplace is the place to do it (additional fee may apply).
• Business District Listing: A searchable listing of companies offering goods and services of interest to the readers of Colonial Sense.
• CS Web Page: A fully customizable web page that can act as a bridge between Colonial Sense and your own web site, or can function as a "mini-web site" if you don't have one. See our Advertising page for more info.
• Display Ad: Your ad will br rotated prominently on Colonial Sense pages, with number-of-impression and click-through statistics available to you
